Are both sentences correct?

1. Greetings from Spain. We're having a fantastic time. We are staying in a hotel. We are going sightseeing and going to the beach.
2. Greetings from Spain. We're having a fantastic time. We are staying in a hotel. We go sightseeing and go to the beach almost every day.

I've got a problem with using present simple in postcards from holiday when I'm writing to somebody while I'm still in that place.

Pluralise 'Greetings' and both are fine as holiday postcard messages.

If your recipients want to quibble about your choice of tenses they need to get a life.
