You can/can't imagine how I have suffered from his anger

You can/can't imagine how I have suffered from his anger.

Can we use 'can' to replace the 'can't' in this sentence without changing much of the meaning of the sentence?

No. The suffering is so terrible that you cannot imagine it. You do not have the experience to imagine my suffering.

You can use 'can', but the meaning will be changed. The overall effect is weaker.
