Is there any information, preferably theoretic on types of word-combinations. I've tried to find anything on the Internet, but failedIs there a list of all types and subclasses of word-combinations in the English language kind of information, for exsample - Nominal word-combinations include adjective+noun (beautiful girl), noun+infinitive (a book to read), etc. Verbal word-combinations include verb+noun (read a book), verb+preposition+noun (give to me), etc. If you know any sites contyaining at least some infor on this topic, could you drop a link to it?

I know of no complete list, and rather doubt that there is one. There are many lists of basic patterns like SVO, etc, but including everything would be a tall order.
