I have a Slavonic riddle about star signs and sun which moves from one star sing to another one during the epochs. I tried to translate it into English. It was a tough task! The riddle is acrchaic. I've got this:
Sixteen Great Chambers not of wood and not of glass
Give home to prince whose being never ends.
Let more than thousand years pass
The mighty prince transcends
From one Great Chamber to the next.
The rhyme is not perfect, of course, but I don't care abou that. What troubles me is words compatibility! As usual! I don't know whether it is possible to say "transcend from something to something else". If not, give me, please, any possible synonyms.
