    laugh out loud

Does "to laugh out loud" mean "to laugh one's head off"?
Are they used in the same type of context?
    Thanks so much.

    Re: laugh out loud

I think the intensity of laughter is higher in "laughing one's head off".)
If I were a native speaker of English, I would never shut up. :-)

    Re: laugh out loud

"Laughing out loud" simply means that you made an audible laughing sound, rather than a quiet chuckle under your breath.
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
