How can I think in English?

Well,as I am not a native speaker of English, sometimes I find it hard to express myself the way I want.So my teacher told me that I have to think in English to be able to express my ideas correctly, but the question is that how can I think in English?

Starting by talking to yourself, even silently in your head, is a good place to start, but it takes time.
