[SUP]1) The cooking skills and knowledge I gained at the Chinese restaurant can be used at my new job as a pizza maker.

2) Almost all the skills and knowledge in culinary industry and for different cuisines are interrelated. You just need to learn the basic skills, and with the basic skills it will be enough for you to adjust to the needed skills and knowledge for different type of cuisine.

Hope somebody can help me correct the above sentences.[/SUP]

This looks acceptable to me.

I'm intrigued to know which cooking skills you gained in a Chinese restaurant are going to help you in your new job as a pizza maker. I don't see many (if any) connections between the two cooking methods!
