i have a English grammar question

    HI

Could you please explain for me , in English why it is correct, if i say "you'll feel better after you eat something"

but it is not correct if i say "you'll feel better after you have something" and instead of that i must say

"you'll feel better after you have something to eat".

I would be very grateful, if you would answer my question.

    Regards

    Ali5

    Welcome to the forum, Ali.

"You'll feel better after you have something."

That's fine if it is clear from the context that you mean something to eat.

Remember that we always use a capital letter for the first person pronoun I.

Ali, please read the Posting Guidelines.

Thread titles should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed. (Avoid phrases like "HELP!", "Urgent!", "translation please", "how do I say this", "I'm new" and similar expressions.)

'You'll feel better' would have been good for this.
