    graduated with a double major

    Hello

She went to college and graduated with a double major in theology and biology.

--- Does it mean that when she graduated from college she had both a theology and biology certificate? So she was both a theologist and a biologist?

Re: graduated with a double major

Yes, more or less. One normally graduates with a degree in some major. She graduated with a degree in two different majors.

Re: graduated with a double major

But it doesn't mean she actually practiced either as a profession.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
