Why he left the house is hard to understand.

    Hi,

    Is the following sentence correct?

Why he left the house is hard to understand.

    Or

It is hard to understand why he helf the house.

They are both fine - apart from the typo in the second.

Change 'helf' to 'left' and they are both right.
