Is it correct to speak this way?
1) Could you please help me take a look?
2) I was wondering if you could help me take a look.
Your thread title, however, does not follow the forum guidelines. You should include some or all of the words you are querying. A good title for this thread would have been "Could you please help me to take a look?"
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
[QUOTE=emsr2d2;955851]They are both perfectly acceptable grammatically although not entirely clear in meaning. Do you want someone else to take a look in order to help you, or do you want to take a look but need someone's help to do so?
So, which one is correct?
"Could you help me take a look?"
"Could you help me to take a look"
Further to the above, I'm not too sure when i should add in "to"
"Could you help me cook?" or "Could you help me to cook?"
"Could you help me carry my books?" or "Could you help me to carry my books?"
Is there a difference between the sentences?
Regarding the thread title, and apart from the valid comment by bobk:
It should be Are these sentences correct? You cannot say Are this sentences.
