How is the customer's reception of the new product in the market?

    1) How is the customer's reception of the new product in the market?

Can I use reception in the sentence? If not, what other word can I use? Please advise.

"How did customers receive the new product when it hit the market?"
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
