Default Good characteristics in a person

    Is it right?

I am happy to see so many good characteristics in him.

Default Re: Good characteristics in a person

It is grammatically correct, but it is reads as somewhat old-fashioned. I would express it as: "I am pleased to see that he has so many good characteristics".
I'm not a teacher of English, but I have spoken it for (almost) all of my life....
