Default He will be our guide around the village

I would like to say that someone who lives in the village will show us around.
    Is this sentence correct?
He will be our guide around the village.

And a similar problem with this one:
Hello. I'm Jane. I'll be your tour guide around London.

This is fine but it doesn't talk about the person living in the village. You would have to add that information somehow.
