    Please correct the sentenses.

    Hello.
    Actually i want to ask what is the better way to say that. i got the certificate 1 year ago,so how should i say it,
    Please correct these sentences.
    I have certification of fashion designing from my country.
    Igot certification in fashion designing from my country.
    Certification in or of?

    The best way to express facts is always the simplest way.
    Why use 'certification' when you mean a certificate?
    Why say 'my country' and not the name of your country?
    Why say 'a year ago' when you can say 2012 or last year?

    I was awarded a certificate in fashion designing by (name of institute), (country) in 2012.

    I want to ask - I would like to ask
    I got - I received.
