    What does it mean by "Screwed Up Mess"?

    Hi,

    My friend tells me that "You're a screwed up mess"?
    Can anyone explain what it means please?

    Your friend is telling you that you are failing to deal successfully with whatever issues your life has presented to you. He or she says you are failing to cope.
