    Welcome to the forum.

    Try to write the letter yourself first and then we can tell you if it is correct.

    Remember these rules of written English:

    - Start every sentence with a capital letter.
    - End every sentence with a single punctuation mark.
    - Always capitalise the word "I".

    Sometimes, we start letters with "Dear Sir/Madam" but if you are writing a letter to a student, you need to start it with "Dear" and then the student's name.
    Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
