    data package

I'm looking for an appropriate verb for "data package".

    Do native speakers say:
    1. compile a data package
    2. construct a data package
    3. built a data package
    4. or others?

Example: Our company is considering ***ing a data package for applying for the marketing approval by using these data.

    Thank you.

    Re: data package

I'd say "compile" but there is no standard expression that I know of.

    Re: data package

    Thank you so much, SD!

Just for my reference... how about "construct" and"build"? Are they awkward or acceptable?
(I will use "compile" from now on but I'd like to know whether these two are correct or not, just in case people ask me about it.)

The original Japanese word I want to translate to English is closer to them than just "make" or "create".

    Re: data package

Sure, you could construct or build. It depends, to me, on whether the main aspect is the gathering of data and bringing it all together in one place (compiling) or the taking of that data and putting it into some sort of form or structure (which is then built or constructed).
