    "Exposure" to some technology

    Hello

In some job advertisements they ask for things such as ...

    Exposure to Cisco routers
    Exposure to Windows 2008 Server

What does that "exposure" means?. Does it mean "some knowledge" or "expert knowledge"?

I think if they wanted an expert they would ask for an expert. I interpret "exposure" as "some familiarity with."
