    Question Are these sentences correct?

Please help me with the following sentences. Thank you.

#1 Giraffes have a lot of endurance. That's impressive for being such a large and tall animal to have a lot of endurance.
(Do we need the word 'being' here?)

#2 These giraffes, they are able to keep doing something for great amount of time.
(Is it better to say 'for a great amount of time'?)

I cannot view the files, but I can tell you that the captions are not written by native speakers and need to be rewritten more radically than by adding or removing a single word here and there.

A better title would have been 'Giraffes'.

Thread titles should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.

I would write: Giraffes have a lot of endurance, which is impressive for such large and tall animals.

These giraffes, they are able to keep doing something for great amount of time.

I would write: Giraffes are able to do the same task for long periods of time.

    Hope this helps,
    Greg

#1 If there were a dialog between A and B, as follows, would it be better to remove the word 'being'?

A: Giraffes have a lot of endurance! They sleep 20 minutes to two hours a day.
B: That's impressive for being such a large and tall animal to have a lot of endurance.

#2 If it is rewritten as 'giraffes, like camels, can walk for a great amount of time without drinking water,' is it fine?
