Default high pressure washing .............. is requisite

    Hello everybody!

I would like to ask you to take a look at the highlighted fragment in italics and tell me if "is requisite" is related to "high pressure washing".
The whole sentence reads as follows:
In view of hull painting scheduled downtime and temporary outdocking of the vessel we would like to inform that for such situation high pressure washing followed by sweeping of applied SigmaCover 280LT spots after second indocking and before next coat - SigmaShield 460LT - application is requisite.

In my opinion, the highlighted fragment in italics could be re-written as it is required to perform high pressure washing followed by ............

What's your opinion on that? Thank you.

I think "required" is better. More commonly used.

"Requisite" was stated in sort of the coating manual, but do you agree that "is requisite" is related to "high pressure washing"?

Yes. "High pressure washing is requisite" is the basic subject/verb of the clause. Of course the "followed by..." procedure is logically also required.
