Can the word "many" be conneceted with words of comparative degree? For example, "The city has many more inhabitants." or "The city has much more inhabitants." Thanks for help!
Many more when you can count whatever it is.
Much more when it's a mass noun.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
