HEY
Have a problem I need to throw out here!
I am in dire need of a complete syntactic analysis of the following sentence:
For Americans, the issue encapsulates a major fault line in their society
I am studying on a Norwegian university, English grammar. I have been very ill for many weeks, unable to do anything, spending most time in hospital. I am therefore behind on some work, and while I have been able to do very much, I have not been able to get a grip on THIS PARTICULAR TASK!
A tree-diagram would be much appreciated, but not necessary!
THANK YOU!!! It would mean a lot!:-o
