    Exclamation Raw image

    Good morning, teachers.
Could you please clarify what does a raw image mean in the following context.
"We think that the quality of the raw images is now in a suitable range and we want to analyze the previously used filter set where we clearly introduced “disturbing effects/signals” to the images. We think that the quality of the raw images is now in a suitable range and we want to analyze the previously used filter set where we clearly introduced “disturbing effects/signals” to the images."
Does it mean untreated/unprocessed or initial image?
    Thanks a lot.

    Re: Raw image

It seems to me that I have found the answer by myself as the text goes on and says:
"Our recommendation is to use other options in the “2-color-Thermometry” operation which needs to be applied to the images for the temperature calibration first but afterwards also to the processed images."
"Processed images" seem to be the apposition to "raw images".

Yes, a raw image is an image still in its original state, before any kind of processing has been done to it.
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
