    pass or introduce

Through the discussion the teacher the concept that they could decrease violence and increase peace in their own lives by giving up the idea of fighing with others.
    A. passed B. introduced

From a native's point of view, can we "pass a concept" or "introduce a concept"?

    Thanks!
