    1. I saw him chasing a cat.
    2. I saw him chase a cat.
    3. I saw him being chased by a cat.
    4. I saw him chased by a cat.
    Which of the above sentences is NOT acceptable? Thank you very much for your reply.

    Did you miss a “him” in the first sentence? (“I saw him chasing a cat.”)
