    Text is just the written or spoken language, but context can be wider and include non-textual elements.

    The text here is our online conversation- you asked a question, I answered, etc. The context is wider- you are a regular poster in a language forum and I am a regualr poster and we know each other through this forum. These are non-textual beause theyaren't in the words, but we both know them from, in this case, the accumulation of other texts.
