    Default Accidents can/ will happen.

    Dear all,

    1. Accidents can happen.
    2. Accidents will happen.

Are these sentences the same in meaning?

    Thank you!

    No. Not really.
    "Can" implies "may"
    "Will" implies "will definitely"
