    20-...was to blame?

    Dear all

    Hello

"The couple didn't know who was to blame ."

Does it mean that each of them knew him/herself responsible for all their problems or he/she knows the other one guilty?

    Thanks a million

    Matilda

It means that neither knew who was responsible for the problem.
