    Default at??

Can you say "we were at our tent" or is it "around our tent"? Maybe "near our tent"? I get confused easily...

I would understand "at our tent" to mean in the area around where the tent was set up. If you were inside, then you were "in our tent."

There is nothing wrong with "near" or "around" either.
