4. I don’t remember what day I first met Michael.

Group II Are the following sentences grammatically correct?
Do they carry the same meaning?

5. I was too busy to notice the place where he went.
6. I was too busy to notice the place he went to.
7. I was too busy to notice where he went.
8. I was too busy to notice what place he went to.
9. I was too busy to notice to what place he went.

4 is different- it refers to the day rather than the date.

II
They mean more or less the same.
