    Dear teachers

    Do these have the same meaning?

    To conclude, it was observed that sales had an increase this/last month.
    In conclusion, it is observed that sales had a decrease this/last month.

    As an NES but not a teacher, I believe that they are the same (other than the fact that one is an increase and the other a decrease!)
