    Really confusing...."the"

    Hi...
    Which one is okay??

    1. on the overall performance improvements
    2. on overall performance improvements
    3. on the overall performance improvement

    I am writing a technical document now.
    For me, it's really confusing when I should put "the".
    Give me an advice please..

    It is difficult for us to comment on short phrases like these. Please post the entire sentence in which the phrase will appear and we will have a better chance of being able to help you.
    Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
