    Default Converse in/on

So. I can't decide whether 'converse in a range of matters', or 'converse on a range of matters' is more appropriate.

To me on sounds more natural, but I want to confirm.

    Cheers

As an NES but not a teacher, I'm not someone who would normally "converse" on anything. I'd expect quizzical looks from those around me!

That having been said, if I were someone who "conversed", I could probably converse on a fair number of matters, but probably wouldn't converse in Latin, as I've forgotten most of the vocabulary that I learnt at school!
