    Default conjunctions

I think the conjunctions 'because' and 'so' are not natural and coherent. Could you help me check it and make it more natural? Thank you.
Because my roommate was ill, I should take her to the hospital. So I forgot it.

The whole statement is unnatural. Can you explain what you're trying to say in a different way?
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.

Assuming your listener knows what "it" is, this is okay.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
