    Default need explanation of "Nice going"

    Lester's briefcase suddenly springs open and his papers spill all over the driveway. He drops to his knees to gather everything.

    "Nice going, Dad. "

    Lester smiles sheepishly, trying to lighten the moment.

    Nice going here is being used as a sarcastic comment.

    Tone of voice would be an indicator here as well that it is sarcastic.


    Nice going - It really is not nice. Say the opposite to indicate what you mean. - Definitely sarcasm. :P
