    Default jubias?

I heard the word "jubias" or something that sounded pretty close to that, but I could not find it in the dictionary. The context is below:

A: Do your tattoos interfere with your work (as an actor)?
B: No. Actually, I have been able to incorporate them into my character--some of my "jubias" choices have become his "jubias" choices.

I thought the word could have been "dubious" but the j sound was definitely there to my ears. Any idea what the word might be?

    It's dubious.

A lot of people pronounce it jubious.
