    Such that

    Dear teachers

    Do these sentences read well?

    They played well such that the crowd got/was euphoric.
    The were so late for the meeting such that everybody had left by the time they clocked on.


    Such that = as a result; that.

    They probably sound best this way:

    They played well so the crowd was euphoric.
    They were so late for the meeting and everybody had left by the time they clocked on.
