    Post Richer and richer

    Dear teachers

    Does this sentence read well?

In today's world, rich people get/become even richer while poor people get/become even poorer.

    Many thanks

    Re: Richer and richer

    It sounds best this way:

In today's world, rich people get richer while poor people become even poorer.

    Re: Richer and richer

I'd go for, "In today's world, the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer".
