    Question read / has read

    Dear teachers

    Is this sentence correct?

It has been 1 month since I sent the documents to the government and the status on the website reads 'under analysis'.

    Thanks

    Re: read / has read

    I would say it's OK.
Please be aware that I'm neither a native English speaker nor a teacher.
