    If I want to say there's a garden near my house what is the correct sentence :
    1 - my room looks over a garden
    2- my room looks down a garden
    or are both forms wrong?

    'My room overlooks a garden.'

    Don't forget capital letters and full stops.

    A better title would have been 'My room looks over a garden'.
