    Cool Past perfect

    Hello,

Is the past perfect correct here please?

"I told them I had to find new customers because I had lost a big one". (I told them I had lost a big customer and that was why I needed to find new ones/ I lost that big customer before talking to them).

Thanks a lot for your help.

    Will

    Yes.
