Smile It's useless trying/ to try.

    Hello everyone,

Are both of these sentences are used interchangeably?Or Do they have different meanings?

It's useless trying to persuade her/ to try to persuade her. (The first one is copied while the second is sort of sentence I usually write)

I wish I had better English, but I work hard to improve it. I'm studying for IGCSE, so I'm only interested in BrE.

If you want us to spend time on your more advanced questions, please make some effort to get your initial questions right. We shouldn't have to be wasting our time correcting, for the sake of others, things that you should be self-correcting by now.

I'm so sorry! Really, I am really stressed out! I have lots of exams these day - I apologise!

Would you answer my question, please? I apologise for the second time.
