    Which are correct:
    1-Italics are good to express emphasis.

    2-Italics are good for expressing emphasis.

    3-Italics are acceptable to express emphasis.
    4-Italics are acceptable for expressing emphasis.

    All OK, but I would be inclined to use "for" (the purpose of).
