    He would have

    Dear teachers,
Please help me with these sentences. I have a problem to write properly these conditional sentences.

    1. He would have died of boredom if he had not had a TV and books in his room.
    Or should I write instead:
    2. He would have died of boredom if he did not have a TV and books in his room.
    3. She would have found a job if she really was looking for it.
    Or should I write instead:
    4. She would have found a job if she really had looked for it.
