    Default Partially diasbled writing box

Hi, I'm experiencing some problems lately. First, nothing happens when I'm writing and hit "enter" (i.e., the cursor does not go to the next line, I can only write in one continuous one). Then, every single word I type is underlined in red, which means English is not recognized (I'm aware that this might be my computer's problema, but I don't know how to fix it either). If any other problem comes up, I'll let you know. charliedeut

Which browser are you using and on what device? I haven't seen this in Chrome or Firefox (on Linux) and can't replicate it. The only way I can get correctly written words to be underlined in red is by changing the language. The cursor goes to the next line in both when I hit enter.

As a Linux user, I can't use IE without going to a lot of trouble.

I'm using IE (Windows 7) on a standard PC, not a laptop or a Smartphone. I tried including AmE and BrE as default languages in the explorer settings, but the undelining is still there. I'll see what I can do about it, since it's only happening since like three weeks ago (the non-functioning of the "enter" key, too). Maybe one of the automatic updates the PC loads has created this mess; I'll see what happens in the next hours or days. Charliedeut

    Hi,

As you can see, the "enter" feature is back! I turned to Chrome and everything is fine so far. Hope it holds .

Hurrah. It won't help to know that at least part of the problem was that, for some reason, your local editing software was SETting NOWRAP. But if Chrome fixes it, fingers crossed (or the South African version, which involves thumbs, though I forget the verb)
