Default Make proper decisions based on what suits them best, not on what someone says

    Hello everyone,

    Does this sentence sound natural?

People should make proper decisions based on what suits them best, not on what someone says.

I wish I had better English, but I work hard to improve it. I'm studying for IGCSE, so I'm only interested in BrE.

It is OK, but I would prefer it without "proper".
