    Default know / learn about

I know that it is natural to say "Through annual physical checkups, drivers can learn about their health condition." My question is : can we replace "learn about" with "know"? I know their meanings are different though. Thank you.

You can, but I wonder why you would want to.

Thank you. I'm sorry about the inadvertent mistake in my previous title "position of 'such as...'"; besides, I'd like to know whether it is also natural to say "Through annual checkups, drivers can know their health condition" because I am interested in English and I'd like to learm about various ways of saying the same thing or similar things. Thanks again.
