Hello,

I would like to know if the following sentences are correct and if they sound natural in English:

I founded my business ten years ago.
I founded my law office ten years ago.

Thank you for your help.

Either one is fine, but it would be normal to hear, "I started my business...", or, "I opened my business...". "founded", in the US, is usually reserved for more formal text. A biographer of a company, or a person, might write, "He founded the business in 1976".
