    diagnostic method

Sahli method is the most important measures of a diagnostic method as it reflects the probability that a positive test reflects the underlying condition being tested for.

Can anyone please rephrase the sentence?

    Re: diagnostic method

You don't have to provide a link, but give us the title and author of the textbook.
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.

    Re: diagnostic method

The only Sahli method I am familiar with is a test for hemoglobin. It sounds as if your sentence is attempting to deal with sensitivity and specificity of a diagnostic test (a link follows). Is this the area you are interested in?
